As I sit,

Watching time go by,

A world that is getting sadder by the day,

I pray for the news to change,

Another shooting,

Another victim of knife crime,

Another person whose been evicted,

To face the struggle of the streets,

The kind hearted people of Britain,

Giving food and drink,

But not a roof,

The people taking drugs offering the homeless a hit,

When they are at there lowest,

But you don’t have to be on the street,

To be this low,

It can start with a health problem,

Getting ill mentally or physically,

Losing your job,

Leads to debt,

Leads to the food bank,

Wondering where has your life gone wrong,

What have you done to deserve this,

The facts are,

The people you see going down the street,

Have very little to do with them big decisions,

That affect what actually happens.

British peoples hearts are full of Love,

Kindness and pride.

Our country has slowly Changed since thatcher years,

With things being sold off,

Then a few year later major change happened when Blair,

Was in power,

And its been pretty shit since then,

We have been lied to time and time again,

We never seem to be told the truth,

Think the last time we were told the truth was probably world war 2,

My son looks at history and just goes its so sad,

History makes me sad,

And its true,

What have we learnt people are still fleeing,

People still dying at the hands of another,

Let so many know of love,

Basic morals

don’t steal, don’t kill, show respect, show remorse and love, treat those as you want to be treated.

Things have changed so much,

The more I look at history im like why, why as humans do we do that,

why do we want to hurt one another,

just why,

it makes no sense,

but it always goes back to the leaders in power.

British people have had enough

We have had enough of being lied to,

We have had enough of passing the buck,

We have had enough of people blaming the poor,

The disabled and the vulnerable,

To the point they invent universal credit that changed a system that was working,

Thats effected more than just the people that were jobseekers,

Its effected those who work who relied on tax credits,

who relied on that money to fed their kids

pay out for that emergency to the hospital

or to simply see them though until the end of month,

This change has led to those who own the houses to be effected,

It is effecting everyone in so many different ways,

Let you still see us helping those in their need,

Despite whatever situation we are in,

We know there is someone in a far worse situation than us,

People want change,

They want empathy,

They want compassion,

They want to see love,

To see them basic morals.
