Why I Would Want to Be Eighteen Years Old Again for a Day

Some people believe that if you change the outcome of one event or action in your life (the butterfly effect), it will alter the course of history on some level. I personally wouldn’t change anything about my life because every step that I’ve taken has gotten me to the point where I am now, and I feel like I’m in a good place. However, if I could just get a quick glimpse of what my life would’ve been like if I changed one thing, I’d do it just to see how things would’ve turned out.

If I knew back then what I know now, I would’ve focused more on my studies than my social life in my first year of college. Perhaps if I’d done that, I’d currently be in a much better position financially. Or maybe if I’d gotten a much better job after graduation, I’d be retired by now, but who’s to say? Would I have had more children? Or would I still live in Chicago? Nevertheless, I like to see a five-minute clip on how my life may have been different.

I’d also like to pose this question to the audience because I’m curious to know what people think about the topic. If you had a chance to go back in time and change one thing about your life, what would it be? Please feel free to leave your thoughts and comments below.
