“Sapiens” by Yuval Noah Harari is a thought-provoking book that provides a comprehensive overview of human history, from the emergence of Homo sapiens in Africa to the present day. The book is divided into four parts, each of which covers a different period in human history: the Cognitive Revolution, the Agricultural Revolution, the Scientific Revolution, and the future of humankind.

Harari argues that what sets humans apart from other species is their ability to create and believe in shared fictions, such as religion, money, and nation-states. These shared fictions have allowed humans to cooperate in large numbers and create complex societies, but they have also led to many of the problems that we face today, such as inequality and environmental degradation.

However, some readers may find the book’s broad scope to be overwhelming, and it can be difficult to keep track of all the ideas presented. Additionally, some of the arguments presented are controversial and may not be accepted by everyone.
