A year went almost wrong in every way, no need to explain that. But undoubtedly the movies keep us alive in these unbelievably hard times. A pandemic could not stop this most beautiful form of art. So without any waste of time let's check the finest of International movies (English+Foreign Language) of this remarkable year. Count how many you have watched and how many you have to!

10. She Dies Tomorrow
A terrifying satirical Horror which is stylish yet disturbing. Unlike other pandemic horrors, this Amy Seimetz Film follows its own path and somehow manages to go beyond its genre!

9. Da 5 Bloods
Historical, political, funny, full of humour yet dangerous and cruel. Da 5 Bloods is a powerful film with so much content about race, trust, friendship, betrayal and off course patriotism.

8. The Paramedic
This spanish thriller, about a paramedic staff whose life would change forever after a shocking happening, maintained its mood and tone intact throughout its runtime and is very engaging. A decent watch definitely!

7. Never Rarely Sometimes Always
Eliza Hittman brings a raw, real and much needed work of art on a pregnant teenager's fight against the system. It's a minimalist film which shows the big issue in a gentle way. A phenomenal on screen performance included. Bravo!

6. Antebellum
Portraying the horrors of American slavery, Antebellum is a Jordon Peele type of movie which has a comment to deliver but never fails to scare you.

5. His House
A metaphoric movie on ghost of past! Its unique, scary and quite original. If you are not a horror fan, still watch it. It's more than that!

4. The Rental
Human behaviour is scary than supernatural happenings, The Rental based on this. The tension and grip of the screenplay is always evident. A very enjoyable thriller which can keep you guessing till the credits!

3. Ammonite
Poetic, lyrical, heart wrenching - this biographical piece is emotional and full of melancholy. A gorgeous feminist film which never show off to be one. Soulful music, extraordinary performance, this tale of forbidden love is a one of the finest movies of the year!

2. The Call
In a list of best films of a year, how can there be no korean film! Here it is! The Call is a mind blowing fantasy thriller with some brilliant content. It's tricky, twisty, scary, engaging, unpredictable and amazing. A memorable one. Breathtaking!

And the best international movie of the year is...

1. I'm thinking of ending things
Kaufman, the master back with a psychological dramma which is one of it's kind. This slow burner is artistic, intellectual, thought provoking, symbolic and off course esthetic. This surreal tale revolves around time, space, dreams, memory, longing and regret. Masterpiece!
