Writing For Teens  – Young Adult Books

I know I’m not exactly a teenager, just incase that’s what you’re thinking…Not in body at least.

There is some pretty amazing Young Adult Fiction out there. I love a good book. Whether it’s written for adults or a younger audience, I don’t much care. If it’s a good story, one that catches my imagination, then I’ll read it.

I enjoyed every minute of writing Wishful Thinking. When it was published, I read it from cover to cover in the paperback format, and somehow it seemed just as if someone else had written it, not me at all!

My Favourite Young Adult Fiction Book….Ever. Apart from mine that is.

The Tomorrow Series: Tomorrow When the War Began: Book 1 – The Tomorrow Series (Paperback)

I absolutely loved this book. I’ve also watched the movie with my son. I have to say it converted to film brilliantly. It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I’m unsure as to why they have not released the other books.

Incase you haven’t read it, the book is centred around a group of teenagers who go off for one last adventure before school starts again. Everything is good…until they venture back home. Where is everyone?

I’d really love to say more, but I had no idea what direction this book was going to take, so I don’t want to ruin the reveal for you guys. Needless to say, the group’s lives will never be the same again.

I haven’t read the rest of the series, but I will for sure. I just need to find me some free time!
