A Walk To Remember.

Upon pages and pages of entries,
I’ve put down all my emotions,
But now I’ve hit a writer’s block,
I don’t know how to finish this page anymore,
Perhaps, I’ve forgotten what I was fighting for;

I called you and asked you to tag along,
And you came out with open arms;

Now, as the cold breeze presses over your shoulder,
As the scent of rain enhances your brain,
I held you closer, closer than I ever did before,
my fingers laced into yours,
we went for a walk!

You admiring the beauty of nature,
And I admiring your face’s curvature,
And when you caught me red-handed doing it,
You grinned and came closer!
Your smile was so vivid and so tender;

You talked about your dreams to be big, to be mighty,
And I talked about my dreams with you,
To be with u, under one roof, in one bed, sharing one pillow, placing over my shoulders your head!

Every morning when I wake up,
I want your face to be seen first,
Every night when I sleep,
I want your lips to quench my thirst!
And side by side, as always,
You kept blushing,
Gripping my hand to its extent,
I guess that was your way to say,
You dreamt the same;

Then you broke the ice,
You flooded me with your emotions,
You told how you planned for us to be,
But I was more adoring than you expected me to be,
And you are in love with this, newly transformed me;
We were happy as we could be!

This was a walk to remember you said,
Leaning before me, making a line beforehand,
I was addled with your thought process,
You read the situation and gave an appropriate explanation,
“Let’s take a step that we both can’t take back!”
I got nostalgic, you were still the same,
I forgot that you were the one who gave our relationship a name,
And if we did cross that line,
We were under a solemn pledge to be together,
To the ends of time!

I held your hand,
And we took that step,
I vowed,”we shall be together till the death parts us.”
And you locked my lips with yours
Before I could say things any further!

And now again,
I have hit the writer’s block,
With this overpowering emotion,
I am unable to finish this page anymore
But I do remember now, for what I was fighting for!
For how could I forget, it was a walk to remember!
A walk to remember!
