A very drunken poem

A Very Drunken Poem

Sitting in my room

Thinking about tonight’s arguments

Laments

on childhood horrors and experiences

Everyone suffers

Life is not an easy game for anyone

But the broken souled sadness

Is a sight to behold

Heartless dead eyes

In the neon lights of illusion

Dead thoughts a confusion in the night

In shit chat we delight

And a hope for a fight

Small town syndrome

Everyone is the tough guy

But when the big guy gets one in the eye

There is no sky

For the height of hypocrisy

The gangster mask slips off

Your name

Up they cough

Aging woman out to re-live their pre-divorced youth

Groping, stroking, slut drop provoking

Because everyone gets lonely

The peak has passed

The flags at half mast

And I share the blame

Of the lame

I will do the same

Cz life is a game

With no real winners
