My Thoughts

So Finally I read another Hype book and I am happy, it didn’t disappoint me.

“Even in the Future, the Story Begins with Once Upon a Time.”

It took me a while to understand the theme, Once It was cleared in my mind that it was easy to read…It was impressive how the author said such a different story with familiar Cinderella element.

It was difficult to not read it in one setting it was quite engaging especially the second half…I decided to sleep when 3 last chapters were remaining, it was quite difficult decision, I was totally hooked and completed it in morning, after finishing I was really glad that I didn’t finish it at night because end left me hanging and while I am curious I can’t sleep( So yeah, I spoiled little bit here).

Cinder and Prince Kaito both are really good characters but Iko, that chirpy android is my favorite, she is witty, caring and fun, I just loved her and her conversations made me laugh hard.

Cinder, She is a famous cyborg mechanic of new Beijing ( I didn’t have any idea about Cyborg, so I had to google it), her scenes are written beautifully, anyone can understand her struggles as a cyborg or you know as a what , There’s no need to say how much I hated Andri and pearl.

“Do your kind even know what love is? Can you feel anything at all, or is it just… programmed?”

Prince Kaito, he is young, naive and straightforward, his character explains it that throne is not something when you’ll sit on it, you’ll directly become a ruler without any effort When a country is already fighting with dual crises …His all scenes where he asked for royal treatment were witty.

“Would you consider being my personal guest at the ball?”

Queen Levana, I just want to tear her glamour and want to show her real face to the world and destroy her brainwashing, her character extremely irritated me.

“Mirrors have an uncanny way of telling the truth.”

The twist was quite predictable that snatch a star from my rating…Can’t wait to read next book.
