Alwaysinfatuated with airplanes as a child, being a pilot was a no-brainer for her career choice in life. At her tender teenage years, she has learned to fly helicopters, airplanes and even fire jets.  Her cool calm and collective nature gohand-in-hand with their ability to operatethe best aircrafts ever created.  Just don’t let her tell a joke.  She’s quite bad at them.

Background Story

New Orleans was catastrophically affected by what the University of California Berkeley's Dr. Raymond B. Seed called "the worst engineering disaster in the world since Chernobyl," when the Federal levee system failed during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. By the time the hurricane approached the city at the end of August 2005, most residents had evacuated. As the storm passed through the Gulf Coast region, the city's federal flood protection system failed, resulting in the worst civil engineering disaster in American history.
Floodwalls and levees constructed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers failed below design specifications, and 80% of the city flooded. Tens of thousands of residents who had remained in the city were rescued or otherwise made their way to shelters of last resort at the Louisiana Superdome or the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. More than 1,500 people were recorded as having died in Louisiana, most in New Orleans, and others are still unaccounted for. Before Hurricane Katrina, the city called for the first mandatory evacuation in its history, to be followed by another mandatory evacuation three years later with Hurricane Gustav.
Because of the scale of damage, many people settled permanently outside the city in other areas where they had evacuated, as in Houston. Federal, state, and local efforts have been directed at recovery and rebuilding in severely damaged neighborhoods. The Census Bureau in July 2006 estimated the population of New Orleans to be 223,000; a subsequent study estimated that 32,000 additional residents had moved to the city as of March 2007, bringing the estimated population to 255,000, approximately 56% of the pre-Katrina population level. Another estimate, based on data on utility usage from July 2007, estimated the community to be around274,000 or 60% of the pre-Katrina population.
These estimates are somewhat smaller than a third estimate, based on mail delivery records, from the Greater New Orleans Community Data Center in June 2007, which indicated that the city had regained approximately two-thirds of its pre-Katrina population. In 2008, the Census Bureau revised its population estimate for the city upward, to 336,644.  Most recently, 2010 estimates show that neighborhoods that did not flood are near 100% of their pre-Katrina populations, and in some cases, exceed 100% of their pre-Katrina populations.
After Jasmine Kennedy lost her home and her memories in Hurricane Katrina, she migrated up north to Virginia with her distant relatives.  Her uncle was a pilot in the United States Air Force and was always infatuated with the military outfit ever since she was nine years old.  To Jasmine, it was a blessing in disguise.  Was he graduated from high school, she immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force.  It was there she received combat training and flight training.  She was an exceptional pilot.  So good, that she was able to land a spot in the United States Air Forces Central Command.
United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT/AFCENT) is a Named Air Force of the United States Air Force headquartered at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. It is the Air Force Service Component of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), a joint Department of Defense combatant command responsible for U.S. security interests in 27 nations that stretch from the Horn of Africa through the Persian Gulf region, into Central Asia.
Activated as 9th Air Force on 8 April 1942, the command fought in World War II both in the Western Desert Campaign in Egypt and Libya and as the tactical fighter component of the United States Strategic Air Forces in Europe (USSTAF), engaging enemy forces in France, the Low Countries and in Nazi Germany. During the Cold War, it was one of two Numbered Air Forces of Tactical Air Command.
Co-designated as United States Central Command Air Forces (CENTAF) on 1 January 1983, on 2009 as part of a complicated transfer of lineage, the lineage and history of the Ninth Air Force were bestowed on USAFCENT, and a new Ninth Air Force, which technically had no previous history, was activated. It has fought in the 1991 Gulf War, War in Afghanistan (OEF-A, 2001–present), the Iraq War (OIF, 2003–2010), as well as various engagements within USCENTCOM.
After she was honorably discharged from the Air Force with the rank of Captain, she was immediately contacted by The Deceiver knewas Brayden Quinten from the oleander syndicate.  The Deceiver was a former Marine herself and was impressed by her piloting skills.  She immediately took Kennedy under her wing for a couple of years and included her to the Shadow Support along with Alastair Copeland and Jamie Driftwood.
The only downfall that she has in her entire personality is that she is far too strict for own good.  Her a type personality doesn’t really mesh well with many other B type personalities with Alastair and the rest of the group.  Even though she means well to motivate her leader and teammates, she does come across as snide and never really satisfied with everyone’s decision. Despite the age gap, she is the most mature of the five, beating out Alastair by a thread.
Out of the five, she is the most realistic and with the most combat experience.  Most people even mistake her for being the leader of the group due to her professional and calm demeanor.  However, if she wanted to her could have been the leader quickly, but decided not to.  There is a good reason why she and part of this group in the first place.  She also earned a psychology major in the Air Force.  Knowing that many of her teammates need serious help dealing with their emotional and mental problems, she doesn’t want to leave many others behind and would rather be a beacon of motivation and their desperate times.
