Cat Coronavirus Diary – Day 18

Cat Coronavirus Diary – Day 18

Hello Humans:

The flowers in the House have started to bloom. This is a good thing. It provides splashes of colour around the places and brightens my house considerably. I find that staring at a flower for a minute or two also makes you more aware of colours when you go outside or look through the various windows in the house.

I stared at a geranium for 5 minutes this morning and then when I looked out of the window, the colours of the bushes seemed a more vivid green than normal. The dandelions seemed like small suns and the daisies like snowflakes illuminated by a candle. It was beautiful.

My humans are moaning about all the things they have lost such as pizza deliveries, beer in the pub, and polluting the environment by driving around in their car. I think they’re looking at this the wrong way. We can go back to basics now, appreciate things for what they actually are, and be present in the moment rather than looking for something to distract ourselves with. It’s all about awareness. We have to be more aware of our surroundings rather than rushing to the next distraction.

MOL! I am changing too. It’s time for sleep practice.

Miaowwwwwwwww for now
