Cat Coronavirus Diary – Day 17

Hello Humans:

I want to blog about candles today, humans, candles especially those small ones – tealights – that people place in bathrooms to Burn off methane and other noxious gases. I won’t explain how the gases get into the atmosphere, you can work it out yourselves – Miaow Out Loud (MOL).

I was staring at the little candle. When it was first lit, it struggled to say alight and almost went out a couple of times, but it kept burning, despite being buffeted by the door being opened and closed by humans who were oblivious to its struggles.

After about 20 minutes, it started to burn strongly and brightly and it looked like it was enjoying itself and fulfilling its intended destiny. I was impressed because it never gave up on its quest until all the wax was used up and it went out quickly and with a triumphant flourish, a candle that had done the best it could.

There’s a message in this candle’s existence – it could have been blown out, it could have been all wax and no wick, but it was determined to continue and it flourished. Cats and humans should be inspired by this candle to keep on going and never give up, especially on days when everything seems to be against you.

Be inspired by candles humans – MOL!

Miaowwwwwww for now
