खंड खंड क्यों जहां ये हुआ,
खंड में इंसान तू क्यों बँटा।
खंड में पानी, खंड में ज्वाला,
खंड में अंधकार, खंड में उजाला।
खंडों में तेरा नाम भी बँटा,
मेरी पहचान को भी खंड मिला।
थोड़ी धरती तेरे हिस्से आयी,
थोड़ा अंबर मेरा भी हुआ।
मंज़िलों के भाग भी बँट से गए,
हमारे राह भी कट से गए।
क्यों सूरज मेरा, चाँद तुम्हारा हुआ,
ये खंड क्यों इतना ज़रूरी हुआ।
