REVIEW

Great book for kids! By Piaras 16 April 2017

To become a pilot in the United States Navy you must first meet the educational, physical and medical requirements and complete several stages of training. The educational requirements are among the more important and lengthy factors in becoming a navy pilot, or a naval aviator. In addition to the educational requirements, you must also prepare for the physical demands of training and meet certain medical standards. This career is very challenging, but can be a rewarding way to serve your country.

This book is intended for kids aged 5 – 12. The book description says it all; …‘Do YOU know how to become a Navy pilot? What do you do when your little girl or boy says, “I wanna be a pilot when I grow up!” And you don’t know yourself!? Here it is, you can put this in her or his little hands and say “This is it kid, your handbook for becoming a pilot!”…

This book is filled with amazing full color photographs. It’s a fun study that will motivate your kids and help them to read also. If they like planes or want to be a pilot (and what kid doesn’t?!) this is well worth a look! I totally agree with the author when he says, “Children need role models today, additionally READING -instead of playing video games- should be more encouraged.’’ I would highly recommend this book. Five stars from me.
