P.S. I Like You

Hello and welcome to my very first blog post. I’ve decided to do it on my newest Book. It’s called P.S. I Like You. It was featured in two, as far as I know of, book subscription boxes. As much as it sucks to get the same book in both boxes it came with some pretty cool stuff in each. As much as I could go on about what came with the boxes I should probably actually talk about the book.

This is a new book that just came out this year. It’s by Kasie West who has written some other books such as Pivot Point, Split Second, The Distance Between Us, On The Fence, and The Fill-In Boyfriend. What first caught my eye was how pink the spine was but once quickly getting over that I had to smile at how cute the cover was. It’s a male and female sitting on a bench holding a mustache poster and a pink lips poster over the lower half of their mouths.

This book is a love tail about two people that completely, or it seems, to hate each other for no reason. The two main characters, Cade and Lily, start out by Writing on the desk they sit in at two different periods for a Chemistry class. As time goes on this desk writing progresses into letter writing and both of them slowly starting to like each other in a romantic way without know who the other person is.

Kasie West is one of those authors that are able to you in with just the very first sentence of a book. Being one that wanted to be a song writer when I was younger and also one that hated school I was quickly able to relate to Lily on those aspects. I often find it hard to stay interested in books because despite the awesome writing of some of them I can’t find anything to really connect to the book with. From the social awkwardness that comes to talking to a really cute guy to the witty banter between the two main characters this book is one that will keep every reader interested because you don’t know what’s going to happen next. If anyone was wondering about reading this book I can tell you to definitely go for it. It’ll be worth the read!!!
