Luckily for us, Maisha Daniels was kind enough to answer a few questions as the tour was getting started so that we can give you a sneak peek into the mind of the creator of In The Event I Die: Instruction Manual and Information Guide In The Event I Pass Away.

Outskirts Press: Tell us a little bit about In The Event I Die: Instruction Manual and Information Guide In The Event I Pass Away. What is it about?

Maisha: My book is a wealth transfer tool where individuals can list their beneficiaries, life policies, properties owned, etc. all in one spot. Loved ones no longer have to wait to see what comes in the mail to take care of final preparations; all assets can be found in this book.

Outskirts Press: Why did you decide to write this story?

Maisha: My paternal grandmother passed away in August of 2021. She was the matriarch and business woman of the family. Unfortunately, when she passed, we had no idea where her life insurance polies were, bank accounts, etc. It was a stressful time on top of grieving and I thought to myself this is ridiculous, there should be something where someone can keep a log of their assets and important information. That is exactly where the inspiration for me to write this book came from.

Outskirts Press: What types of readers would be interested in this story?
Maisha: Business owners, grandparents, adult children, etc. This book will honestly help so many people, especially those who don’t have wills in place or are unable to afford an attorney.

Outskirts Press: What is special about your book?

Maisha: With my background in life insurance and the experience in losing my grandmother, this book was carefully thought out to fill in the gaps or missing pieces that people may have not thought about.

Outskirts Press: What differentiates it from other books in the same category?

Maisha: This book gives so many different types of assets that people may not have thought of such as passwords and pin numbers listed, different financial apps people may have. It also has a page where you can have your wishes notarized.

Outskirts Press: Have you published any other books? Do you plan to publish more?

Maisha: I haven’t published any other books, but I am in the process of writing a book on growing a business. I managed portfolios as a wealth manager for clients that had net worth upwards of 5 million. I assisted in growing their businesses and assisting with strategies for income and growth. I will be pouring my experience and expertise into this book.

Outskirts Press: How can someone learn more about your book or purchase it?

Maisha: They can find me on social media; Instagram: maishadaniels_biz Facebook: Maisha Daniels. My book can be purchased online www.intheeventidie.com and on Amazon.

Outskirts Press: Thanks for your time, Maisha! We look forward to learning more about you as you visit other bloggers!
