You pretend your Intentions Fall flat
But in reality, you are just a doormat
People take advantage of your kindness
You had emotional blindness
You thought most everyone meant well
This sheer optimism you need to sell
You know you can turn your back
On people who don’t deserve your flack
But as you roll this life dice
You realize many people are queens with lice
They have their own weight
Filled with their loneliness and hate
They are caught in their own drama of the earth
You are on the receiving end of this premature birth
You have live in this barren land way too long
They say the other side is incredible
But you are afraid you will never be whole
Your relationships make you feel stripped of everything
While the queens of the air start to sing
Where is my chance? You wonder
Why does the lightning come before the thunder?
Why does the rain ruin the soil?
Why must we work in toil?
Why does the innocent
Have to be told to always repent?
