Update And A New Poem (This Road Is A Weary One)

Hello Message In Stanza followers, I have been on a bit of a hiatus at the moment. I suffer from anxiety and Aspergers syndrome (a mild form of autism), so I have been taking a little TLC for me. I apologize I haven’t been around consistently but thanks for your patience. I will be posting new poems and musings periodically and checking out your latest materials on my reader. God Bless you and please pray God keep me steadfast emotionally, spiritually and physically. This is so I can be all God has called me to be me, including being the writer I believe God has called me to be.

God bless you,

Here is one of my latest poems:

Hope is imbedded
It’s impregnated
In possibility
But also by dissolving
Our pretensive limited beliefs

Despair brings us to our knees
Rushing with desperation
To make our short window bus rides
And this bus ride isn’t to find our friends again
But the road of forgiveness to our hearts

You shouldn’t take free outs
You shouldn’t take bribes
And you shouldn’t lie to yourself
Or one another

Just when you step on that bus
Take a deep breath
And never look back
You have a compass and water
But don’t forget your pillow every now and then

This road is a weary one…
