A Philadelphia man chose the wrong car to steal last night, and it cost him his life.
A 25-year-old mother left her 3 children, aged 5, 1, and 7-months, in the car while she stepped inside of a pizzeria where her Boyfriend worked on Thursday evening. The car was left running to keep the kids cool. A 54-year-old man stepped into the driver’s seat and tried to take off.
He didn’t get far.
Mob Justice Enacted
The mother’s boyfriend and father to 2 of the children in the car ran after it. The car got stuck in traffic, and the man was able to catch up to his girlfriend’s vehicle. The boyfriend pulled the Carjacker out of the car and chased him down on foot.
When he finally caught up to him, there was a physical fight. Police report that other men from the neighborhood stepped in, but when they learned of what happened, they helped the boyfriend attack the man.
Approximately an hour after the carjacking took place, police were on the scene. The carjacker was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No charges have been filed as of now against the boyfriend or Neighborhood Mob members.
