NASCAR EU extended until 2030 due to increase in popularity

NASCAR and F1, the two world’s greatest racing bodies, extend ten more years of their partnership. In 2012 Team F1 and Nascar or National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing an American racing company have signed unique collaboration to cement Euro NASCAR’s status as one of the best car racing series in Europe. NASCAR races already on televisions in more than 160 countries will become the populist race event in the EU until 2030 by this extension.

NASCAR Whelen Europe Series 2019

2019 saw seven events of NASCAR with 26 races touching eight different EU countries. It was the first time in the Czech Republic and also made its return to the Raceway Venray in the Netherlands. Not to forget the spectacular non-championship All-Star Time Attack event on the street circuit in France. There were more than 30 car season entries and with over 75 drivers from 22 countries.  The pure racing with spectacular battles with lots of animations around the track brought fun and happiness to European fans and their families. Also, the unique access to teams, drivers, and cars helps to celebrate the passion of racing for more than 20,000 European fans per event.

2012 partnership & its extension now

The tremendous success of Team F1 and NASCAR partnership brought in 2012, has brought the 4th October announcement of extending it to ten more years.  Hence the Nascar Whelen series is to be extended up to 2030 in many more countries of the EU.  This unique feat reinforces the foundations of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series with more stability and positioning it for the long term and the highest level of European racing.

Eight years of EU NASCAR success story

The extension even before the expiry of the 2012 partnership in 2020, by NASCAR and Team F1 consolidates the fact of the popularity of EU NASCAR.  It has earned the reputation of the best touring car series in the EU with the best potential for robust growth for the future. In the past eight years, NASCAR events have been held at 14 different tracks in eight different EU countries.  Drivers across the world from five continents have shown their expertise in their EU NASCAR Whelen racing so far.

Future of EU NASCAR

The NASCAR Whelen series is going strong and is now the stepping stone for many EU drivers to progress in their NASCAR career.  So far, 19 Euro NASCAR drivers competed in North America NASCAR, out of which five of them took part in the National Series event. Alon Day became the first NWES competitor to race in the Monster NASCAR cup series in 2017. Also, this year, Lois Hezemans took part in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Road America and the first outsider to be selected for its next program. The last final four races of 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series is expected to have more than 25,000 fans in the circuit Zolder in Belgium in the previous weekend of the year.

With the popularity of the NASCAR EU increases, so is the use of all season tires, and all weather tires increase with every year for safe and comfortable driving across the EU.
