Top 5 tips to free up space in your iPhone

It is not uncommon when your 8GB Iphone shows that you have already used all of the available memory in your device.  But when it happens in between of some emergency when you need immediate space in your iPhone, it becomes a terrible tragedy. So, try these simple tips to get some space on the iPhone and maintain it.



Empty Cache Memory

Make a habit to clear your iPhone history and website cache data to have a space. For extra memory, click Settings-> Safari Browser-> Clear History and Data.  In this way history , cookies and the rest of web data will be cleared from your device and you can save some space.

To remove cache memory in other browsers for example Chrome, click on chrome app-> Menu button on the top right side of the display-> Settings-> Privacy->Clear All. You can also clean your browsing history, cache, cookies and website data from here.

Clear Old Texts





Many people use to send frequent text messages besides of using apps like whatsapp, skype and others. You should delete old texts. In some cases, iPhone is set to keep messages permanently. You can delete old Message by exploring settings app to find messages. Move down to Settings app then choose Keep Messages option, here choose 30 days or other option to select how long you want to keep your old messages.

iPhone Memory





Check out what has covered the space in your iPhone. Go to Settings->General-> Storage & iCloud Usage-> Manage Storage. It will immediately show that apps are covering your iPhone memory. Find the apps and games that you do not use much and delete them.

Media Files

Instead downloading music files, prefer to stream the songs online from music sites like savan, gana.com, songs.pk and others. Do not download the songs in your iPhone. But it is your own choice if you want to do it.

Move to Cloud




Keeping your files on Cloud is an easy way to get some space free on iPhone. Apple iCloud offers 5GB space without any charges. Another option is Settings-> iCloud-> Photos known as iPhone Storage that also saves photos and videos however in smaller format.
