Welcome Back!
If you’ve been following this blog for a while you will know that travelling is one of my most favourite things to do in the world. Since I’m studying at college and don’t have a lot of money, it’s pretty hard to travel as much as I’d ideally like to be able to, however I try to go as far as my money will allow and I still have a lot of fun travelling to the places I do on a low budget.
Since I’m likely to write a post about all of the trips I go on, I thought I’d update you all on my Travel Plans I already have in place for 2017!
On Friday, March 31st I’m going to York for the day as part of a college organised trip. I haven’t been to York since I was a lot younger so I’m Excited to get back and experience the city as an adult. My friends and I don’t really have a plan of action, the only thing we know we’re definitely going to do is go to the York Dungeons, I’ve never been to any of the dungeon experiences in the UK so I’m quite excited for that. Expect a post about my day in York at some point in the future!
At some point during the Easter holidays, my mam and I are planning a day trip to Leeds. I’ve only ever been to Leeds once for an evening, so I’ve never really experienced the city. Being honest, the only reason I ever suggested a trip to Leeds was because I want to go to Victoria’s Secret, but I’m pretty excited to see the city in the daylight and get out of Newcastle for a bit!
In June, me and my friend Becci are going to Blackpool for the weekend for a Vampire Diaries/Originals convention. I’ve been to Blackpool before and I really don’t like it that much, but I’m SO excited for the convention and to meet the actors from the shows I’ve loved so much for so many years! There will 100% be a blog post all about this weekend! Only 92 days to go!
My main holiday booked for this year is to Paleokastritsa in Corfu. I am BEYOND excited for this holiday, it looks so amazingly beautiful and tranquil. I cannot wait to get to the sun and the beach and spend a week in bliss away from everything. We’re unfortunately not going away until October, but I’m counting down every single day and cannot wait to get to this paradise!
When we fly to Corfu we are flying from and to Manchester Airport, so on our return we are staying in Manchester for the day to experience the city. I’ve never ever been to Manchester so am quite looking forward to spending the day there on our return from our week in Corfu!
Quite a few things are unconfirmed for this year, but are still quite likely to go ahead. I will most definitely be returning to London at some point this year. Last year I went to London five or six times so I have no doubt I’ll end up there at least once this year. My mam and I are also thinking of returning to Amsterdam this year, after going twice at the end of last year I’ve fallen in love with the city so i’m after any excuse to go back! I want to go to Edinburgh for a day or two this year, as well as potentially spending a few days down in the Isle of Wight with my friend. I’m also trying to persuade my mam to come to Disneyland Paris, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this plan will go ahead!
