Menards Coupon Policy

We gladly accept the following types of coupons:

Manufacturer Coupons

• Must have a scannable barcode.
• Must have “Manufacturer Coupon” printed on it.
• Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer.
• Must have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Expired coupons WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO) Coupons. If the value of the free item is not on the coupon, the cashier is required to write it on the coupon.
• For dollar/cents off.
• For free items. If the value of the free item is not on the coupon, the cashier is required to write it on the coupon.
• May not be duplicated.

Competitor Coupons

• Must have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Expired coupons WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Are acceptable in black and white or color.
• A specific item for a specific price. Example: $2.99.
• Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO) Coupons. Value of the free item must be on the coupon.
• Competitor Coupons for discounts when using private label credit card will be honored when using the Menards Big Card.
• Competitor Coupons for a percentage off a total transaction will NOT be accepted.
• Coupons must be from a local Competitor (they have a store in the local market). It is at the store’s General Manager’s discretion as to what defines a market.

Print-at-Home Internet Coupons

• Must be legible.
• Must have a scannable barcode.
• Must have “Manufacturer Coupon” printed on them.
• Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer.
• Must have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Expired coupons WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO) Coupons. If the face value of the free item is not on the coupon, the cashier is required to write it on the coupon.
• Are acceptable in black and white or color.
• May not be duplicated.

Soft Drink Container Caps

• Brand purchased must be identical to the soft drink container cap.

Menards DOES NOT accept the following coupons:

• Print-at-Home Internet Coupons that do not require a purchase.
• Competitor Coupons:
  • Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO) Coupons without a specified price.
  • Double or triple value coupons.
  • For a percentage off a total transaction.
• Coupons WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED if copied, scanned, transferred, purchased, sold, prohibited by law, or appear altered in any way.

Guidelines & Limitations:

• Coupons must be for products sold at Menards and must be presented at the time of purchase.
• Only one coupon per item. For example, you cannot use a Manufacturer coupon and a Menards coupon on the same item.
• Item purchased must be identical to the coupon (size, quantity, brand, flavor, color, etc).
• Manufacturer Coupons & Competitor Coupons will be enforced per the individual rules and  regulations on the coupon. For example, coupon states, “Limit one coupon per purchase,” which means that one coupon can be accepted per item, not transaction.
• There is no limit on the number of coupons per transaction.
• All coupons must have an expiration date and be presented within the valid date. Expired coupons WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. They cannot give cash back if the value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.
• All applicable sales taxes are paid by the Guest at the full value of the item.
• Any coupons stating, “Not valid with any other discount or offer” will not be valid with sale priced items.
• Menards does not discriminate on pricing. They charge the same low price to all without regards to race, creed, age, or occupation.
• Menards reserves the right to accept or refuse coupons at their own discretion.
