Beauty & The Beast Rose

Valentine's Day is right around the corner!
I will be doing a series for Valentine's Day!
  • Top Valentine's Day Dates
  • What do we really want for Valentine's Day
  • DIY Gifts (boys + girls + friends + family)
  • Valentine's Day Treats
  • Valentine's Day Drinks
  • Engagement Season !
  • Last Minute Shopping
  • Favorite Love Movies
But in the mean time I want to share a romantic DIY my dad did for my mom this Christmas!
It's perfect for an anniversary gift, proposal, random gift, or Valentine's Day.
My mom is a huge Beauty and the Beast that's why when my dad mentioned he had purchased a ring for Christmas we both knew the Rose from the Beauty and the beast would be perfect!
Hope you enjoy this DIY!
XO,
Valerie Ann

Shopping List:

How to:

  • Glass Cloche with Wood Base-- I originally purchased mine from Kirkland's and it was pre-lit, but they are completely sold out. So I will link a very similar one- HERE
  • Silver Wire LED String Lights--I am linking the ones I used because they were easy to direct-  HERE
  • Articifial Rose + Rose Petals-- I recommend going to Michael's and looking through your options in person but I will link what I used- HERE
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hot Glue Sticks
  1. Remove glass cloche from wood. Clean glass cloche until it's clear.
  2. Without hot glue-ing anything. Place everything how you would like it to look. I personally liked the rose in the middle and crouched over so you could see the ring without opening the glass.
  3. Once you've decided where you want the rose, place a lump of hot glue there. Insert rose into the lump and hold until the hot glue hardens (add more if needed).
  4. Once the Rose is in place hot glue some of the rose puddles around the rose to hide the original hot glue lump.
  5. Now spread the rose petals randomly on the bottom
  6. Now take your lights and organize them how you want. These do not need to be perfect. Just make sure they aren't covering the top of the rose.
  7. Place ring in the middle of rose. Make sure its tucked in between two petals so it doesn't fall out.
  8. Place Glass Cloche on top of your master piece.
