Telangana Government Schemes are been introduced by the Telangana Government for the welfare of the people of Telangana. The Chief Minister of Telangana has introduced these TS government schemes in order to maintain the people at Below Poverty Line to be the people Above Poverty Line. Some of the government schemes that are introduced as the implementation of the Central Government Schemes.
SHE Teams in Telangana
The Government of Telangana has decided to have SHE teams in all major cities and towns in the state from April to check crimes against women. The novel concept was initiated in the Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits. 100 SHE teams were formed for Hyderabad and 60 teams for Cyberabad, each comprising one sub-inspector, one ASI or a head constable, two constables and a women constables, one of them with a discreet camera, all in civil dress.
So the people who are suffering the women will be arrested by the SHE teams which are in the public places. So the Telangana government have given all the powers all the powers to the SHE teams in punishing the people who suffered the girls or the ladies.
Arogya Lakshmi Scheme
The Telangana State government has now come up with New Arogya Lakshmi Scheme for pregnant and lactating women which comes under the Telangana Government Schemes. The Arogya Lakshmi Scheme meant for the welfare of the pregnant and lactating women and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has christened it as Arogya Laxmi. KCR wanted that to target women must get the government-supplied nutritious food. Health is wealth, he averred. He said that a program to provide one nutritious meal every day through Anganwadis to pregnants, new mothers, and infants. This program is being implemented through 31,897 Anganwadis and 4,076 mini Anganwadis. The Eligible Persons are nothing but the Pregnant women, Lactating Mother, Children below 6 yrs and the nutritious meal per day through Anganwadi and mini Anganwadi.
For the women, the food will be 1 egg plus 1 meal for 25 days every month. And the food for the three to seven years child is rice, dal, vegetables, and snacks plus one egg per day. Under this program, 16 eggs, instead of 8 eggs per month would be provided to the children in the age group of seven months to three years. Along with eggs wheat, milk powder, red gram, sugar, and oil would be provided every month. The pregnant would be given full meals for 25 days, with eggs and 200 ml milk in place of the present three kg rice, one kg dal, half kg oil and 16 eggs. This program would provide nutritious food to 5.90 lakh pregnant and lactating women apart from 18.20 lakh children.
GHMC Driver Cum Owner Scheme
In The (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) GHMC Driver Cum Owner Scheme as one of the Telangana Government Schemes, started for unemployed youth as the target in Hyderabad city by provided New Maruti Dzire Cars and it was named as “Driver Cum Owner Scheme“.The GHMC Started Driver cum Owner program for the unemployed youth who are interested in the field of driving to get an opportunity to hire with Government Departments or the Private organizations or the Cab Services.
To Apply GHMC Driver Cum Owner Scheme the Applicant should age limit from 21 to 35 years and should have white ration card with the valid driving license with the minimum of three years of Driving experience. The Applicant who applies for Driver cum Owner Scheme should be ready to contribute 15% of the project cost and willing to get tied up with the bank for 85% of loan component. The eligible subsidy would be based on the caste. According to the program, any interested youth (men and women) aged about 21 to 35 years with driving licenses can approach the zonal office for obtaining application forms for getting enrolled for the scheme.
Shadi Mubarak Scheme for Muslim Brides
The Government of Telangana state Shadi Mubarak Scheme for Muslim Brides in Telangana state. For this Telangana Government scheme, all Telangana Muslim minorities get benefits for this scheme. CM KCR has told in the elections and he stands his promise.This Telangana state government has issued a government order for Shadi Mubarak Scheme for Muslim Brides. Under the Scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 51,000/- at the time of marriage shall be granted to every unmarried girl belonging to the minority community. The government of Telangana visualizes the overall development of the Poor in the State and in particular the minority girls who face numerous hardships and problems at marriage.
The Government of Telangana has reviewed the performance of the said scheme and after detailed examination and in suppression of all orders issued on the above subject hereby introduce the scheme of “Shaadi Mubarak” for all unmarried girls belonging to the minority community at marriage, with a view to alleviating financial distress in the family. Under the Scheme, a one-time financial assistance of Rs. 51,000/- at the time of marriage shall be granted to every unmarried girl belonging to the minority community.
Aasara Pension Scheme Implementation
The Telangana state Government as a part hereby, introduces the Aasara pensions with a view to ensuring the secure life with dignity for all the poor. This scheme is meant to protect the most vulnerable sections of society, in particular, the old and infirm; people with HIV-AIDS, widows, incapacitated weavers and toddy tappers, who have lost their means of livelihood with growing age, in order to support their day to day minimum needs required to lead a life of dignity and social security. In the past, social security pensions provided were meager and, barely sufficient to cover the basic minimum requirements of the needy. With a view to combating the ever-increasing cost of living and inflation, the Government, hereby, introduces a new scheme called Aasara pensions, which will provide substantial financial benefits to all the above categories, particularly those who are most needy.
A government with a view to identifying eligible beneficiaries conducted a comprehensive one-day Samagra Kutumba Survey (SKS) of households in the State of Telangana . The data collected during the Survey is expected to form the basis of identifying the poor and vulnerable who are truly eligible for the social safety net protection, through the AASARA Pensions.
Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam for SC, ST Brides
The Telangana Government issued introducing the scheme of “Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam” to all SC and ST unmarried girls on their marriage with a view to alleviating financial distress in the family under the Scheme, a one-time financial assistance of Rs.51,000/- at the time of marriage shall be granted to every SC/ST Girl with effect. Under the Scheme, a one-time financial assistance of Rs.51,000/- shall be granted to every SC/ST Girl before the marriage provided an application is submitted at least one month in advance from the date of marriage.
The eligibility of the Kalyani Lakshmi Pathakam is that the unmarried Girl shall belong to SC/ST community and the unmarried Girl shall be a resident of Telangana State.The unmarried Girl should have completed 18 years of age at the time of Marriage and the combined income of the Parents shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per anumm.
