Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 has commenced, generating significant excitement with a novel and captivating twist known as the ‘Dynamic duo’ concept, fittingly titled ‘No Loose Guard’.

Upon their arrival in the house, the fresh cohort of competitors will engage in a 71-day contest, marking the initiation of the pursuit for stardom and heralding the commencement of the quest for a new victor in the BBNaija series.

In the preceding season, the All-Stars variant crowned Ilebaye Odiniya, a 20-year-old model, as the champion, granting her a sizable sum of N120 million. The forthcoming Season 9, organized by MultiChoice Nigeria, has announced a grand reward of N100 million for the ultimate victor, in addition to various other incentives. Notably, this season will integrate Showmax’s exclusive review program, ‘The Buzz,’ hosted by Toke Makinwa.

The BBNaija reality television program is scheduled to commence today on July 28th at 7 pm Nigerian time, with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu resuming his role as the presenter. The inaugural pair to step into the house comprises Chinwe and Zion (Zinwe), who have been romantically involved for 5 months. Subsequently, they were followed by the (Radicals) Femi David and Michael.

The third pair to make their entrance into the BBNaija residence are DJ Flo and Rhuthee (Flourish). (Ndi Nne) Chinne and Nne, who entered as an aunt and niece duo, are the fourth pair to join the contestants. The fifth duo consists of Topher and Sooj (Aces), while the sixth pair comprises Shaun and Victoria (Shatoria). The seventh pair are Handi and Wanni (WannixHandi).

Every participant is matched with another housemate to form a duo, necessitating collaboration and competition in unison. These pairs will tackle collective assignments, trials, and selections, underscoring the imperative nature of teamwork for their survival within the house.
