Hello!  What a fantastic night at the O2

We Adele fans may have had to wait 5 years to see her back on the road again after throat surgery and giving birth to her first child, Angelo, as well as writing her 3rd album 25 but it was so worth the wait.

Adele is currently riding high on the crest of a wave.  One more gig left tonight at the O2 sees the end of her 2016 UK Tour, before she takes Europe, then the USA and Canada by storm. Although let’s not forget Glastonbury in June 2016.

Adele claimed four 2016 Brit Awards including Best British Female Solo Artist – I don’t think there is any doubt there. She has won over a 100 awards during her career to date, so it is hard to believe that 8 years ago she was, pretty much, unkown.

I was beside myself having missed out on tickets for the March 2016 gigs, so it was incredible to be there last night.

What a performer. What a Voice.  Belting out her string if hits to 20,000 people most nights is no mean feat.  Adele’s personality is as big as her voice.  What you see is what you get and her banter with the audience is just that.

In front of yet another sold-out crowd last night she responded, in her own indupitable way, to the rumours that Rebel Wilson may play Adele in a forthcoming biopic.

“They need my f***ing permission,” she then added. “Just because I’m plus-sized doesn’t mean she’s playing me.”

So get it? Got it? Good! Rebel.

At only 27, one can only assume that Adele’s career is still on the up.

I’ve forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet

I don’t suppose for one minute that she has.

She is charismatic and, you know what?  I would pay to go and see her as a stand up comic.  Her off the cuff banter with the audience is as memorable as her music that will stand the test of time.  You are ****ing brilliant mate!
