This lady has made India proud! Yes, we are talking about Manushi Chhillar, who won Miss World 2017 in Sanya, China on Saturday. After 17 years, the crown is back in India. Manushi Chhillar is the sixth Indian to win the coveted title after Reita Faria, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Diana Hayden, Yukta Mookhey and Priyanka Chopra.
While everyone was applauding her for winning the coveted Miss World, Shashi Tharoor took a dig at Manushi Chhillar’s last name and demonetization. He took to twitter soon after Manushi was crowned Miss World. He wrote, “What a mistake to demonetise our currency! BJP should have realised that Indian cash dominates the globe: look, even our Chhillar has become Miss World!”

Tharoor was attacked online for his tweet. National Commission of Women also demanded that he should apologize for ‘degrading a daughter of India.’ After which, Shashi Tharoor posted this apology later:
Guess the pun IS the lowest form of humour, & the bilingual pun lower still! Apologies to the many who seem to have been righteously offended by a light-hearted tweet today. Certainly no offence was meant to a bright young girl whose answer i've separately praised. Please: Chill!

Vineet Jain, MD of Times India played a role of referee between Shashi Tharoor and Manushi, and tweeted,
I saw @ShashiTharoor tweet regarding @ManushiChhillar . I wasn’t offended even though she is a times girl. We need to learn to be more TOLERANT towards light hearted HUMOUR. #MissWorld2017 #MissIndia

Well, Miss World Manushi Chhillar has finally reacted to the same in the best possible way! Here’s what she wrote:
Exactly @vineetjaintimes agree with you on this. A girl who has just won the World isn’t going to be upset over a tongue-in-cheek remark. ‘Chillar’ talk is just small change – let’s not forget the ‘chill’ within Chhillar @ShashiTharoor https://t.co/L5gqMf8hfi

Shashi Tharoor responded to Manushi’s tweet, calling her a ‘class act’ and also apologised
You're a class act, @ManushiChhillar! Beautiful, smart & uncommonly gracious too. Still, if any offence was caused to any member of your family, sincere apologies. Like every Indian, I'm proud of you. https://t.co/42wdOqV0wZ
