Kanelbullar

Aka Cinnamon buns!! Very Swedish, very delicious! The summer is on its way and the weather has been absolutely beautiful today so what better than a cinnamon bun and a glass of juice in this gorgeous weather? While Noah had one of his many naps today I took my time and made my own buns. I have to admit that they are pretty delicious and I wish I could share them with my son but since he has no teeth and is still just living of breastmilk, I'll have to invite people over. So friends, by all means, the door is always open. Especially now!! But for those of you can't make it over, they aren't that hard to make!

1. Melt 150g of Butter and add 5dl of milk to the hot saucepan

2. Break down 50g of Yeast into a bowl and add the butter and milk to it. Mix it well so the yeast dissolves

3. Add 1tsp cinnamon, 1tsp vanilla Sugar, 1dl sugar, 0,5tsp salt and one egg and mix it all together. Keep adding flour into the mix until it becomes one big dough

4. Cover it with a towel and let the yeast work its magic for an hour

5. Roll out the dough with flour until its flat

6. Add enough butter, cinnamon and sugar so it is covering everything

7. Roll the dough into a big sausage and cut it into separate large pieces

8. Place the pieces on an oven plate

9. Crack a full egg and stir it. Cover the buns with the egg together with any kind of sprinkles as design

10. Place the buns in the oven for 5-10 minutes until they have a nice crispy brown colour
