Escom Chandler's Children Park was just a couple of feet away from our house when we used to live in Paintsville. We used to live in the Red Bricked house with the big backyard. Although this park was very close to us, I went there no more than three times during my childhood. The park is to the right of El Ranchos Apartments and behind Days in Paintsville. The intersection is 8th street with Madison Ave.
