CHANEL Perfection Lumiere £36
Chanel perfection Lumiere Foundation was the luxury brand foundation I ever bought and laid hands on, I bought it online for my 18th birthday and the shade I bought was a random guess that turned out PERFECT for my skin! When I received my packaging I was pretty excited and the glass bottle looked elegant and the foundation smell got me going CRAZY. Probably one of the best smelling foundations ever?!?! YES a very big statement but that’s how much I adored borderline obsessed over this foundation. Putting it on the face was like heaven, a very thin consistency that glided on to the skin like a dream and left the skin texture soft with no imperfections but without looking cakey. It gave the confidence boost I needed and made me feel like my skin was naturally perfect. I used this foundation DAAAILY for 7 months and then after that I just couldn’t afford it due to the price, so this was two years ago and it was in those two years I went on too try many other foundation brands including NO7, Rimmel, L’oreal and makeup for ever, but nothing ever felt the same as the Chanel.
So today I decided to go on a beauty spree and see what new things I could find. I had heard a lot about a foundation called Bourjois healthy mix serum, many beauty gurus were using it and many people had positive reviews about this foundation, I had it fixed in my mind that I no matter what I would be purchasing this product, I was very excited about trying this product, I spent two days researching this product before hand (I know I’m so lame LOL). I got the shade 52 which was a perfect match for my skin, the packaging is pretty simple but nice. When I came home, going straight upstairs I decided to put it on, and NO KIDDING when I say that as soon as I tried this product I was reminded of my Chanel foundation, the feel of this product, the way it looked and even the SMELL was the same!!!! thinking to myself that “why did I never try this product way before?” “what did it take me so long???”
Like the Chanel foundation I find this a light coverage that can cover up any imperfections without looking cakey and it is a semi matte finish. It is most certainly a dupe for the Chanel Perfection Lumiere with a LOW PRICE.
