One of the leading global Construction Equipment manufacturers Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) is ready to exhibit its major products in Bauma Conexpo India 2016, the international trade fair starting from December 12 to 15 at Huda Ground Gurgaon, Delhi.
The Volvo CE is going to showcase its five machines from its three product lines in the exhibition and will provide information regarding its various other machines to the visitors during the international trade fair. This year, organizers are expecting over 30,000 business visitors during the four days period. This is one of the biggest construction equipment exhibitions in India in this year.
“Volvo CE is the largest major manufacturer in India that offers a complete range of equipment to suit the country’s three main areas of activity: road building, mining and general construction. In addition, our machines can offer the high performance, reliability and fuel efficiency that contractors need to meet the growing demands of projects in India,” said Mr. Dimitrov Krishnan, vice president and head of Volvo CE India in a press statement.
In this expo, the company will formally launch its two new compactors DD90B double drum compactor and SD110BA single drum compactor, both of them are built at its Indian manufacturing facility in Bangalore, the company updated multiple features to make them even more attractive to Indian customers.
Maintaining the strong focus on road building, Volvo will make the first appearance of P5320B ABG paver at the trade show, it was introduced in mid-2016.
Beside two compactors and a paver, Volvo CE will also display two of its advanced excavators from the D-Series. The 21-ton rated EC210D and 25-ton rated EC250D represent the latest in construction technology and are well suited to a range of applications including road building, irrigation projects or work in materials handling duties.
D-Series excavators can also deliver up to 10% better fuel efficiency than their predecessors, claims the company.

SD110BA single drum compactor
This single-drum compactor is designed with productivity in mind, combining powerful performance, quality compaction and versatility to adapt to earthwork compaction applications in India. It provides equal measures of efficiency, versatility and stability to ensure superior compaction, shift after shift.
Due to its integrated traction control system, SD110BA not only increases output levels, it also enables operators to access hard-to-reach areas of the jobsite.
DD90B double drum compactor
The new DD90B asphalt compactor is specially designed by keeping the versatility in mind, fuel efficiency and powerful performance across a range of applications in India. This new model of asphalt compactor will be one of the highlights from Volvo at bauma CONEXPO India.
This double drum asphalt compactor (DD90B) provides flexibility to handle varying conditions, widths and flexible pavement compactions applications from roadways, large parking lots and to airport runways constructions.
P5320B ABG paver
The machine is designed to achieve optimal power, efficiency and quality in medium and large-scale projects where paving widths range from 2.5 to 7 m. Its 88 kW (118 hp) D5 engine is capable of pushing 25-ton trucks and pulls the Volvo screed with ease, even at maximum paving width, claims the company.
Beside this high power is delivered with minimal noise and low fuel consumption, making the P5320B ABG paver an environmentally-conscious choice.
This 21-ton rated new EC210D crawler excavator is equipped with a range of robust features to ensure a superior performance, shift after shift. It is designed with Volvo’s extensive experience and expertise for ultimate productivity and efficiency in a wide variety of tasks.
This machine features a robust frame combined with optimal engine power and hydraulic pressure to provide superior digging forces and fast cycle times.
EC250D, the D-series excavator has the strength and durability to take on a range of challenging worksite tasks. With faster cycle times, excellent digging and lifting capabilities, and a capacity for greater productivity.
The excavator is equipped with a powerful six-cylinder diesel engine, rated at 138 kW (188 hp).
Volvo’s unique integrated work mode system now includes the G4 mode for optimum fuel efficiency and machine performance. Operators can choose from a selection of five work modes, idle, fine, general, heavy and power max mode - to suit the task at hand.
