A non-doer is very often a critic-that is, someone who sits back and watches doers, and then waxes philosophically about how the doers are doing. It’s easy to be a critic, but being a doer requires effort, risk, and change.

Well, Life with Ktkinnes is officially 2 years old today! How time flies… Thank you to everyone who’s following, whether you’ve been here from the start or just arrived, your follows and likes are very much appreciated.
I’ve been trying to think of something to do to celebrate 2 years of blogging but if I’m being honest I’m not quite sure what to do. A competition? A giveaway? A special post? Today’s Thoughtful Thursday’s Quote of the Day was quite an interesting one, and it certainly got me thinking. Personally, I think I’m a non-doer. I talk about doing things and then never do, or give up after a certain amount of time. However, blogging is something I thought I would get bored with very quickly and yet here I am! If only I was as dedicated to revision as I am my blog… Which are you, a doer or a non-doer? Can you be a mix of both?
It’s been a long week, and it’s about to get more interesting. One granny is coming to visit this afternoon while Rachel’s boyfriend is here (he was meant to be here at 11:30am but only woke up about half an hour ago so the likelihood is he’ll be here around 1:30pm instead), tomorrow will be Rachel’s last-minute shopping that needs done before she leaves on Saturday night to go to Romania with Habitat for Humanity to build houses for people. Saturday is also my other granny’s 85th Birthday – it’s the year of big birthdays! Speaking of which, I’d better get started on sorting Rachel’s 18th birthday presents… Can anyone remember which blog post I mentioned them in?
