select single



click on Element and Node to be selected


to un select same element click again

click diagonal corner of window containing entities with mouse cursor.
click and drag mouse from left to right for selection. element will be ignored if they are not completely inside boundary. so in below picture 339 will not selected. but if we move from right to left all member intersected will be selected as a result 339 will be also selected.

Select - Polygon

click first point
click the second point
click the 3 point
click the 4 point
click the 5 point
and when clicking final corner double corner
all the elements and node inside the element are selected

Intersect line- select element


click highlight
double click on the last point
lines intersected with lines get selected

Select by plane
if structure is not oriented in global direction say XY
CLICK ON TEXT BOX FIRST POINT IT CHANGE COLOR TO GREEN. THIS IMPLY COORDINATE CAN DIRECTLY BE PICKED BY CLICKING ON NODE. YOU HAVE TO PICK THREE NODE TO DEFINE PLANE.

Select volume
specify first and second point, all the node will be selected between both the points.
