A social media user who happens to be Femi Kuti’s neighbour called out the singer on Twitter over their Faulty Street Transformer, but he met his match as Femi Kuti clapped back at him for bringing a neighbourhood issue to social media.
According to the Upset Neighbour, Femi Kuti refused to join the efforts to get their power supply company to replace their faulty Transformer, instead, the singer ported to the next street’s transformer, leaving his neighbours in darkness.
Well, Femi Kuti couldn’t care less. In the exchange, he told the upset neighbour to port to the working transformer too, if he so needs electricity, but the exchange went downright messy as the neighbour accused him of being a hypocrite who fights the government but won’t fight for his neighbours.
