The men ask Lot if he has anyone here; his daughters, sons and all his people Living in the city. They want him to take them away. They are going to Destroy the city. The outcry against the people living here is quite loud. It has reached God. He has now sent them to destroy the place.

Lot goes to his sons-in-laws who are about to marry his daughters. He asks them to be on their feet. They have to leave the city. God is about to destroy it. But it appeared a joke to his sons-in-law.

At dawn, the angels urge Lot to leave the city with his two daughters and his wife. Otherwise, God’s punishment will sweep them away.

Lot hesitates. But the men seize their hands; that of Lot, his wife and those of his two daughters. God is kind to them, leads them outside the city and leaves them there. When they are outside, God asks Lot and his family to flee for their life. He commands them not to look back or stop anywhere in the plain. Run to the hills or they will get destroyed.

Lot appears reluctant.
