I always Wake up at 4 A.M. and my friends make fun of me. But is it as bad as you think? Here are some of the benefits I enjoy as an early riser.
- It is the most productive time of the day
“There is not enough time to do everything.” This is the complaint I often hear from friends, coworkers and even from my boss. But I never face this situation because I have more than enough time. The most exciting thing I experience every day is that I don’t have to procrastinate anything. I do my work when my energy is at the peak; at dawn. Most often, I outsmart my coworkers because I Finish my work much earlier. A few days ago, I got a friend, an early riser. After finishing our project, we roam around helping our friends to finish their tasks before deadline. We just keep away from our boss; to stay safe.
- My mind is at ease then
At 4 AM, there is nothing to disturb me. There are no traffic, no outside noise and no kids to yell. I sit in my quiet with just my own thoughts. It lets me prepare for the day ahead. I know, it is far better than getting up and rushing with the day’s routine.
- I get out and give glory to God!
I wake up feeling fresh and energetic. And the thing that never stops to amaze me is the sunrise. I truly love the way when the glory of God is reflected in the beautiful rays of the sun. The sight of the midnight blue getting later as the day approaches. The way that brilliant color slowly gets into the sky is a beautiful sight I would never want to miss in life.
- I don’t have to worry about my workout routine
Experts say; we should spend at least 30 minutes a day for exercise. Waking up at 4 AM lets me exercise without having to worry about anything else. I can jog or walk around in the quiet neighborhood. If I wish, I can even go to the gym. But the quiet morning in the neighborhood is the thing I love most. It leaves me enough and more time to brace myself for the tough day ahead.
- I enjoy maintaining a healthy diet
Preparing and having a healthy Breakfast is fun for me. This is something most of the night owls lose. They tend to skip breakfast because they want to wake up as late as possible. This deprives them of the fuel their body needs to function. As a result, they feel hungry in between and are forced to have junk food. Having breakfast prevents a person from having unhealthy snacks; he stays full for longer hours.
- I am blessed with a positive mindset
I have lots of time to finish my work. This relieves me from the stress of having to race when the deadline approaches. I don’t have to take home anything professional. It implies that the time after work is my own. I can pursue my hobby or spend quality time with my children.
It is definitely hard for a night owl to wake up at 4 A.M. all on a sudden. The best thing to do is to introduce small changes so as to help yourself wake up a bit earlier every day.
If you are a night owl, you don’t have to stress yourself out for the same. Night owls are smarter than us, the early risers.
