The Parisian Dream

I've been to France a few times in the past as a child and on school trips due to it being abroad but not so far the school can't reach home - when you're 12 and it's your first time abroad without your parents that feels pretty darn vital at the time! But I hadn't been since I'd reached an age where I can appreciate Paris for Paris and not for Disneyland (although I did go to Disneyland and still loved it as much as the first time I went when I was around seven)
Paris Is a crazily beautiful city and a place I'd always see pop up on blogs and vlogs such as Sammi's from 'BeautyCrush' (okay she did make me realise just how much I had to go to Paris opps) but that beside I have always been someone who loves to visit new places and to travel. On my 18th birthday I was lucky enough to go to Paris and ohh boy did it live up to my expectations! Paris has to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the fortune to visit, the food is delicious, the buildings are beautiful and the people are lovely.
I thought going in September the weather would be shoddy but a few people had told me it was a lovely time of year to go but none the less I really didn't want to get my hopes up for get of the euro tunnel to a down pour of rain. BUT the weather was so lovely, it was that weather where you weren't so hot and sweaty you could barley walk but you could wear shorts and a vest and not be cold, I even managed to cat the tiniest of tans which is a bit of a mission for me!
I wanted to share one experience in particular whilst being in Paris with you, simply because it is a bit more on the pricey side but if you can I'd really grab the opportunity with both hands to do it and that is dinner up the Eiffel Tower. There was four of that went to the meal and each it was €85 for a 3 course meal and a glass of champagne on arrival. You can go up in price but honestly I don't think I'd say it's worth it, we had a lovely couple sat next to us from New York and what they had extra really wasn't worth it but then again it does depend just how much money you have to spare! The food was delicious and although the serving sizes look tiny and when I say tiny it came out and I thought to myself "Crap, I'm totally going to have to scoff a bag of crisps before I go to bed!" but the food was so rich I was so stuffed by the end of it, I didn't know if i could even make it out of my chair! For me the view was the most amazing part seated on the first level of the Eiffel Tower you could see for miles and it was truly beautiful you could see all the glistening lights throughout Paris. If you are interested in the dinner the link is here.
