Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS Price And Specs Revealed

Zigwheels.com –

  • The Mojo 300 ABS comes with a mix and match of features from both the XT 300 and UT 300.
  • The engine is slightly less powerful compared to the Mojo XT 300.
  • It gets dual-channel ABS as standard.
  • Expect Mahindra to launch the motorcycle officially soon.

We have the exclusive pricing and specifications for Mahindra’s upcoming tourer, the Mojo 300 ABS! Our sources have revealed that the motorcycle costs Rs 1,88,800 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).  The motorcycle was spotted at a dealership just last week, so expect Mahindra to make an official launch announcement pretty soon.

The Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS is powered by a 294.72cc (same capacity as the Mojo UT 300) single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. Working alongside a 6-speed transmission, the powerplant dishes out 26.29PS at 7500rpm and 28Nm at 5500rpm. In comparison with the carburetted Mojo UT 300, the new motor is more powerful by 3.19PS and 2.8Nm. But interestingly, the engine in the new bike makes 0.9PS and 2Nm less than the Mojo XT 300. It seems like Mahindra has tuned the engine in the new bike to be a middleground between the two now-discontinued variants in order to keep the costs in check.

The motorcycle employs a traditional fork up front as opposed to the inverted unit in the Mojo XT 300. The rear, however, retains the same gas-charged monoshock unit. The wheel travel (143.5mm front and 135mm rear) has also remained the same as the XT 300 and the UT 300. Brakes include the same 320mm petal disc up front and 240mm conventional disc at the rear. However, the new bike uses ByBre radial caliper up front and ByBre floating caliper at the rear instead of the J.Juan units. Mahindra has offered a dual-channel ABS as standard to comply with the new safety norms. The 17-inch alloy wheels are wrapped with 110-section front and 140-section rear Pirelli Angel CT rubber.

The motorcycle is 2115mm long, 800mm wide and 1150mm tall. Its wheelbase and ground clearance stand at 1460mm and 165mm respectively. These figures are the same as the Mojo UT 300 and it is evident that Mahindra has used the UT variant as the base for the new bike. However, at 815mm, the seat is 3mm lower than the UT 300. At 21 litres, the fuel tank capacity has remained unchanged, though. The motorcycle will go head-to-head against the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400.
