We had the honor of trying out a Snuggy Baby Hybrid Wrap, before now I had never heard of a "hybrid wrap" I though there were stretchy & then there were wovens but thanks to Snuggy Baby I have discovered a whole other world of wraps. 

You've likely heard of a stretchy wrap & a woven (I actually just mentioned these two wraps) & a hybrid is as if these two types of wraps got together & made baby wraps. It's a cross breed between the two & gives you the benefits of both. Stretchy wraps tend to be better for smaller babies & beginner wrappers while wovens are great for all sized babies but tend to need some breaking in since they do start out stiff when it comes to a material you are wrapping around yourself & your baby. This Snuggy Baby hybrid wraps gives you the best of both worlds, you get a bit of stretch to make it easy for you to wrap your baby & doesn't need any breaking in thanks to the cotton being a soft & gentle material.

I wasn't sure what to expect out of a hybrid wrap, it wasn't a stretchy wrap but it wasn't a woven so what's it going to be like? Let me just say it was LOVE at first wrap. I started wrapping 6 years ago when my first was born & back then I didn't know there were different types of wraps & I used only a stretchy, about 6 months in to our journey I stopped wearing, a stretchy wrap was no longer comfortable for me. With my second baby I learned about mai tais which were a nice alternative to wrapping but yet again our journey was cut short at 8 months due to discomfort. Now three babies & lots of carriers later I found a wrap I wish I had from the beginning. This not a woven but not a stretchy hybrid wrap from Snuggy Baby gives us what I loved about a stretchy wrap but also what I loved about a woven, it gives just enough stretch to make wrapping easy & it doesn't require us to break it it to be comfortable from the start. 

The material is 100% Cotton & boy does it feel like it, I just want to wrap myself up & use it as a blanket during the cold nights.  It's heavy enough to keep your warm but light enough to not make you over heat with your precious baby wrapped up with you. I absolutely love that the cotton doesn't "give" too much, so even with a wiggly 20 lbs nine month old the weight is always evenly distributed across my front & back. This hybrid wrap is definitely a must have for every wrapper or soon to be wrapper & we hope you fall in love with first wrap just like we did.
