The reason for the trip was a concert. From the restaurant where we ate, Al and I could see the venue (pavillion) where the concert took place.
This is the restaurant where we ate supper before the concert.
Here’s one of the many nautical themed wall hangings in the NoName Restaurant.
Inside the restaurant I noticed that one wall was rustic, made of cubed stones. I find that interesting because right outside the place those stones are all over the harborside.
It’s hard to express just how BIG the car carrier was, seen here next to a sailboat.
This cityscape as seen from the car and a dragon’s view.
This is the hotel where we stayed.
Apparently, travelbear came too.
An old building, the elevator car looked original to the building.
another view of the hotel.
This chair was seen at the hotel bar.
It’s typical for hotels to have DO NOT DISTURB signs. But I’ve never seen such an odd door tag as this. Being literal, I was befuddled.
A precarious profession indeed!
We kept finding ourselves in ChinaTown.
On the ride home we had pleasant blue skies with puffy clouds. I saw much graffiti but never could get great shots from the car. I did capture a few little murals painted over bricked up windows.
This is my favorite graffiti. Walking down the street before we left I spotted some graffiti kids spraying graffiti. Was B.I.P. here???
I had some business at AANE before we left Massachusetts.
And that’s about it. My Phone Died before I could take pictures at the concert. I’ve seen Counting Crows about 37 times now I guess and Rob Thomas who opened and killed it (! IN a great way!) about 11 or 12 times. I did get a few pictures before the phone died. Here’s the one of Rob Thomas, you can’t tell though and it’s blurry!
