Sorry for the lack of posts on the blog lately but I've been super busy!
Last week I received one of the Mini KISSticks' from Kiss Cosmetics to try out. The idea of the Mini KISSTick is so that you can try out any of their shades without having to buy the full sized version. Their are 10 shades to choose from and they retail for £2 Excluding tax of £1.67 and the full sized versions retail for £7 Excluding tax of £5.83.
I received a gorgeous nude shade called Birthday Suit. The first thing I noticed was the smell of the lipstick itself, it smelt like vanilla and so sweet! The formula of the lipstick is just right, it's not dry and is extremely moisturising. The shade I received was almost an orange nude and unfortunately I don't think the colour is for me as orange tones just don't suit me in my opinion.
Although I'm not sure about the colour on my skin I think it's a gorgeous nude colour and the formula and scent of these lipsticks definitely get a thumbs up from me!
I love the idea of being able to purchase a mini version of the lipstick before you buy the full sized version and I like the consistency and formula of these lipsticks so I think I'd definitely try out some more lipsticks from them!
Although I like the lipsticks themselves, the price of one of these Mini KISSTicks' and to ship to Ireland works out at around £11.50 or €16 which in my opinion is extremely steep seeing as you can go into BT's and buy a full sized MAC lippy for €20. I think if you're living in Ireland and thinking of ordering from Kiss Cosmetics you'd definitely want to be doing a big order and not just purchasing one or two items.
