Let’s see what’s in the October 2022 Amoda Tea box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a white Amoda Tea logo in the center.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the teas included in October’s box, as well as tasting notes for each one.
All of the teas were individually packaged in resealable pouches with labels noting their tasting notes, caffeine content, brewing instructions, and full ingredient list.
PURRsonaliTEAS “Himalayan KitTea”
Based in New Jersey, PURRsonaliTEAS is a new tea company that offers loose leaf tea blends with names inspired by our favorite feline friends. “Himalayan KitTea” is a full-bodied black tea consisting of (obviously) black tea, honeybush, cocoa nibs, and natural chocolate & hazelnut flavors. It’s perfect to enjoy as a dessert tea and can be served with or without milk.
Venya Tea “Golden Touch”
“Golden Touch” is a spicy, floral tea that offers a nice immunity boost to help get you through the oncoming cold season. It features a combination of organic turmeric root, organic ginger root, organic lemongrass, rose petals, organic hibiscus, and organic pepper. Since it’s an herbal tea, it contains no caffeine making it ideal for sipping well after the sun goes down.
BrutaliTeas “Butterbotch”
BrutaliTeas (the same folks behind PURRRsonaliTeas) offers a fun selection of unique and quality hand-crafted loose leaf tea blends inspired by metal/rock/alternative bands & horror/thriller movies. “Butterbotch” is a must for fans of butterscotch and features a flavorful blend of black tea, apple pieces, cocoa nibs, rose hips, marigold flowers, and butterscotch & natural creme flavors. It’s dairy-free, contains zero added sugar, and makes a killer tea latte.
SerendipiTea “Charlie Chan Cha”
October’s final selection was a green tea blend from SerendipiTea — “Charlie Chan Cha”. This award-winning tea has a little something for everyone: A little spice, a touch of citrus, and a hint of mint. Full (100% organic!) ingredients include Chinese green tea, cinnamon, clove, ginger, lemon myrtle, and peppermint.
Biodegradable Tea Filters
A roll of disposable/100% biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box. I didn’t count them, but it looks to be plenty to use with the included teas. Additional filters can also be purchased as an “add-on”.
Postcard
This month’s postcard featured a cozy tea scene complete with a fancy teapot, a pitcher of creamer, a candle, dried flowers, and packets of tea.
October’s Amoda Tea shipment included a nice assortment of black, green and herbal blends. I’m most looking forward to sipping “Himalayan KitTea”, “Golden Touch”, and “Butterbotch”.
