December 2017 Sips By review time!
If you haven’t heard, Sips By is a Subscription Box that sends you a personalized selection of teas on a monthly basis. Each box will contain 4 premium teas — enough to make 15 cups — that are specifically chosen for YOU based on your Sips By profile. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked a series of questions to determine which types of tea you’d most enjoy. You can specify your preferences when it comes to the benefits you look for in a tea (stress relief, weight loss, sleep aid, taste, energy, etc), preferred flavors (unflavored, citrus, berry, mint, floral, earthy, sweet, etc.), and more. You’ll also be able to rate your teas on their site to help them curate more matches for you in the future.

The Steeping Room White Tea with Apple & Holiday Spice
An ideal choice for the holiday season, this leafy white tea is blended with dried apple bits, cranberries, cinnamon stick, and other natural flavors. It has a nice, clean flavor and can be enjoyed both hot or iced.
Hoogly “Sparkling White” White Tea
More white tea! This low-caffeine blend includes apple pieces, Chinese green tea, lemongrass, elderflower, orange blossom, hibiscus, rosehip, orange peel, and natural flavoring. I love light & fruity teas, so these will be enjoyed in no time.
The NecessiTeas Candy Cane Lane
This limited edition, seasonal holiday tea is flavored with natural peppermint as well as real pieces of candy cane! It’s green tea based and also contains freeze dried marshmallows — which I can hopefully pick out before brewing to make it vegan-friendly. 🙂
Tea Hee Hee The Dreamer Tea
A soothing herbal tea designed to help you relax and get a good night’s sleep. The 100% natural blend includes ginkgo biloba, gotu kola, rosemary, passion flower, green tea, lemongrass, mugwort, peppermint, and valerian root.
BONUS: Pukka Revitalise
December’s box also included a bonus tea from Pukka. “Revitalise” features an organic blend of cinnamon bark, orange peel, elderflower, cardamom pod, licorice root, ginger root, Sencha green tea, spearmint leaf, clove bud, and black peppercorn. Needless to say, it was very flavorful!
Sips By Tea Bags
If your box contains loose leaf tea you’ll also receive a reusable muslin cloth tea bag, along with a handful of disposable bags. I’ve been using the ones I received in last month’s box, so I’m happy to get a fresh supply. 🙂
