Hello Bible is a new children’s subscription box that focuses on a different Bible story every month.
Each box will include a full curriculum with weekly activities for the entire month. You’ll receive a progress chart and a monthly memory Bible verse to collect, along with a Bible storybook and two creative craft projects to dig deeper into the content of the Bible story. It also includes ideas to share and pray together, to nurture your child’s faith and to discover the Bible as a family. Boxes are designed for children age 4 and up.

The Story of Creation Book
The theme of this month’s box was the story of creation, so they included a book that retells the story with colorful illustrations that appeal to younger children. It also featured rhyming verse to further help keep kids engaged in the story.
Each box comes with a new Bible verse to collect and add to the keyring above. This month’s card also included information about The Kilgoris Project, which educates and feeds children in rural Kenya. Hello Bible donates 10% per box to their mission.
Instruction pamphlets were included for each of the two craft projects.
The first project involved decorating your own cotton tote bag.
Materials included Pentel Arts Fabric Fun Pastel Dye Sticks, a sheet of baking paper, and a cotton tote.
The instructions said to draw God’s creation, but my girls decided to draw happy vegetables instead. –Once the tote was complete, you were to place the baking paper over the design and iron to make it permanent and washable.

The second project was to make your own picture frame.
Materials included colored popsicle sticks, a cardboard square, a stamp pad, ribbon, stickers, glue, and a Sharpie.

Using the stamp pad to make colored fingerprints on the sticks that will surround the photo on the frame. (Stickers were also included for decoration, but we opted to just stick with the fingerprints.)
The completed masterpiece! — I used an older Christmas photo cut out of cards we used in 2015 (that we still have a ton of) and I LOVE how it turned out. I think we’ll use it as a Christmas ornament.
Even though we don’t align ourselves with a particular religion, my girls and I still enjoyed completing the crafts in our Hello Bible box! Of course, it would be a much more beneficial subscription for those who are Christian.
April 2017 Hello Bible Box Review
Summary
Everything was very well designed and the projects were easy to complete. A great box for teaching children about the Bible in a fun, hands-on way.
