As always, a tri-fold info card included a little background on the featured item, as well as a few photos of it “in action”.
GlobeIn Signature Palm Leaf Basket Oaxaca, Mexico ($12) – All GlobeIn Benefit Basket boxes include a handwoven basket made of discarded palm leaves. These are woven entirely by hand and can take hours to complete. I’ve recently started using a few of them to hold my girls’ hair accessories and they’re perfect for the job.
Hand-Crocheted Beanie by Krochet Kids Uganda ($30) – Nestled inside the basket was this month’s featured item — a hand-crocheted beanie! Krochet Kids is an organization that helps to empower women by providing them with jobs and allowing them to pursue education & secure sustainable career paths. Subscribers could have received a beanie in either blush (shown above) or black. Each one is made of 100% acrylic yarn and is hand-signed by the person who made it. Neat!

Summary
I'm all about wearing hats lately, so I was happy to see a cute beanie included in this month's Benefit Basket. However, while it looked alright on me, it looked stinkin' adorable on my kiddos.
