To Detox or not to Detox!

  Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday!. I woke up feeling sluggish this morning and i usually think maybe its because its very early, so i need extra time to feel fresh. Truth is i need Detoxification. A lot of people think detoxification is only when you take something to help you go to the bathroom. It goes way beyond that. A lot of times in life, we get involved with people and things that adds negative things to our lives. Honestly, sometimes we don't even know we get involved in those things, so it is very necessary we keep check of what and who is in our lives. So, lets talk about ways to detoxify.


1.) Check yourself: This is the first and most important thing! Ask yourself different questions. Are you satisfied with where you are? Is there something you need to do and you haven't done? If you are not happy with your answers, check out step two.

2.) Check your surrounding: I always like to check who I keep as friends, even on Social Media. People you continually see can definitely have influence on you! So, I keep people whose posts are very positive, so when am less busy, I check my facebook or Instagram, I see people graduating, people getting new jobs and things like that! For my friends, I love to be friends with people who take school seriously. 

3.) Fasting: okay, don't yell at me! When I say fast, I do not only mean religious fasting. As I mentioned earlier in step two, Social media is very influencing and if you are the type that gets easily influenced, well maybe you need to stay away from social media, maybe one or two weeks. It won't kill you. You will come back feeling refreshed. 

4.) Travel: well if you can afford going to another country, go ahead. If you can't, then maybe go out of town, out of state or out of where you are! Go see life elsewhere! We humans kind of get used to things and are sometimes scared of change! Change is constant and inevitable as well. So you might even forget there is two sides to the coin, maybe seeing something different might give you an heads up to doing or achieving the things you wish for

5.) Work: okay this is the last step. So far you have acquired so many information. The next step is to act on it. Make detoxification something you do regularly so you don't feel like a stagnant water if you know what I mean!
