How To Fix “Verification Required…” Message When Installing Free Apps

App Store is a huge app market with a million of apps. Many of them comes with free apps for the installation. However, many iOS users have recently complained that the App Store sent the Message saying Verification Required: Before you can make purchases, you must tap Continue to verify your payment info.
As our discovery, this message happens when the credit card you previously supplied to the App and iTunes Stores has been expired. Hence, the message “Verification Required” will appear. However, some people still said that their credit card was not expired and they could end up paying a small fee for their free apps.

So we tried to carry out a very simple fix to help you get this of this message, but it will require you to do these following steps on your iPhone. Here is how you can do this
Fix “Verification Required…” Message 
1.      First launch the Settings App on your iPhone
2.      Next, scroll down and tap on the iTunes and App Store.
3.      After tapping on the Apple ID, there will be four options: View Apple ID, Sign Out, iForgot, Cancel.
4.      Now, choose View Apple ID.
5.      You will now see the Sign-in Required window. Now enter your password.
6.      You will be prompted your account information.
7.      Now, tap on Payment information.
8.      You will now see four options appearing in the Payment Type, including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, None. Choose the None option.
This would be possible to fix the “Verification Required” message on your iPhone when downloading free apps.

Change Payment Type Using iTunes on PC or Mac
Another way you can do to change the Payment Type is using iTunes on your computer. Here is how you can do this.
1.      Launch iTunes on your computer.
2.      Next sign in with your Apple ID.
3.      Choose View My Account Info in the drop-down menu.
4.      You will be asked to log in by using your Apple ID.
5.      From the Account Info window, choose Edit Payment Information.
6.      Now, click on None from the four options.
7.      Click Done.

Now you can comfortably enjoy downloading free apps as your liking without the annoyance of Verification Required message.
