How To Recover Photos From Lost iPhone

Using iCloud to back up your iPhone’s data is a great, but if you have many photos and videos. iCloud only offers you 5 GB of storage and though you can buy more space, what will you do if your phone is stolen or lost? The best option to backup data is using iTunes. As long you back up data through iTunes, you will be able to restore all of them even your iPhone gets lost. But the question arises is what you’ll have to do to only Recover Photos from lost iPhone? This can be done by using a tool that works separately from the iTunes. We’ll cover it in this post today.

Use iCloud to Recover Photos from Lost iPhone
The photos from your lost/stolen iPhone can easily be recovered from iCloud. Simply follow the steps below:
1.      From your computer, go to iCloud.com
2.      Enter your iCloud email and password.
3.      Click the Photos icon in the menu.
4.      Choose the images and videos you want to recover.
5.      Click the Download button to save them on your computer.
6.      The selected images will be saved in your Computer.

Use iBackup Viewer to Recover Photos from Lost iPhone
Now we’ll use Ibackup Viewer too; which is available for both Windows and Mac OS to recover photos from lost iPhone.
  •          First, download the tool for your computer.
  •        Once done, launch the iBackup Viewer, and choose the backup file you want to access from the menu.
  •         To view the photos stored in the backup file you just selected, click on Photos.
  •         If you want to restore the chosen photos, click on them to save them.
  •        Once done, click the gear icon at the top of iBackup Viewer and choose Save Selectedor Save All options if you want to restore all your photos.
  •         It may take several minutes to complete depending on the number of photos you chose.
  •      Finally, open the folder that contains a DCIM folder having several small folders.


If your phone has recently been lost or stolen, you will find this tool quite handy to recover photos from your lost/stolen iPhone.
