It's funny, despite the fact that both of my brothers worked at a bar or two, I know pretty much nothing about nothing about making cocktails. Granted, this could be because of the fact that they are 10 and 8 years older than me, but I still wish I'd picked up a think or two from them over the years. Lucky for me though, I've stumbled upon a subscription service that should help my mixology skills along - American Cocktail Club!
American Cocktail Club, who very kindly sent me this box for Review, is a monthly cocktail subscription service. They offer two types of boxes to choose from: The 'Everything But The Booze' option is $34.99 per month and includes all the ingredients except the alcohol to make 4 servings of a world class cocktail. The 'Everything' box is $44.99 per month and contains all the ingredients plus the alcohol to make 4 servings of the month's featured cocktail. .
This review is for the 'Everything' box and included is an information card listing your items, the drink recipe, and a bit about the creator of that particular recipe.
This month's featured drink is The Summer Bellini and this recipe comes from Gabby Cingliano. Gabby is a health food Instagramer and she describes this brunch inspired drink as 'a way to hold onto summer just a bit longer.' . The ingredients included are 2 cans of Sparkling Wine, 1 can of Brooklyn Organics Guava Gingerale, 4 ginger lime cubes, and I bottle of Peach Juice called 'Harriet Peacher Stowe'.
This drink was ridiculously delicious! The recipe that was included was super easy to follow and all the ingredients that were included were quality products that formed a tasty cocktail.
