July 2017 Postmark'd Studio PostBox Review

You know, in the age of technology where everything and nearly all contact with loved ones is via an internet connection, it's easy to forget what pen and Paper are. Yes, I'm a blogger. Yes, I thrive in said digital age. But you know what? I still prefer actually writing things by hand. There's something relaxing about just physically writing with a pen in my hand that can't be matched by tapping keys. It's also much more personal and intimate to send communications this way. So when Postmark'd asked me to check out their new subscription, of course, I said yes!

Postmark'd Studio, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a new monthly subscription service specializing in Greeting Cards. Subscribers will receive a limited-edition delivery of beautiful handcrafted artisanal greeting cards and postcards created by artists around the globe. The cost is $30.95 per month and your PostBox will be  filled with four greeting cards, one postcard, postage, and a fun artsy doodad such as a pen, pencil, or knick-knack gadget based on a theme.

The July theme is all about Whales and the included card tells you a bit about each item and the artisans featured in the box.

The Whale Hello card is from August & Oak, located in Charlotte, NC. Run by a husband and wife team, they use their own illustrations to craft fun, colorful paper products.

The Herman The Whale card is from Reyn Paper Co.  They are based out of Atlanta, GA and have made it their mission to deliver unforgettable paper gifts and greeting cards.

The Whale, Whale, Whale card comes from Kelly Shields, a letterpress artist from Cincinnati, OH. She isn't the only talent behind her designs either. This particular one was designed by her daughter!

The Whale, Congrats! Card comes from Man vs. George Design. Based out of Milwaukee, WI, their designs are a wash with color and vivid graphics that create a well balanced, visually appealing product.

Obviously, I think the Having a Whale of a Time! postcard is my favorite. It comes from Noteworthy Paper & Press, located in Missoula,  Montana.

Also included are one pencil and one ink pen.

Each box also comes with postage to send out your cards. I find this to be extremely helpful as I rarely go to the actual post office and never have a stamp handy when I need one.

I had so much fun with this month's PostBox! The theme, the artwork, and the quality of each card is really phenomenal. It's a great way to really remind ourselves to take the time to write out a card when you can because that personal touch just means so much more than any text or email ever could!
